The companies were purchased in tandem as Spell continues to grow their footprint in compounding and masterbatch facilities worldwide. In addition, this is the second portfolio platform that Spell owns in Australia, as they continue to invest in Oceania / Asia.
Duromer Products, headquartered in Sydney, Australia, is a leading producer and supplier of thermoplastic polymers and compounds to the plastic industry. They produce a wide variety of customized thermoplastic compounds in both engineering and polyolefin base materials. DuroColour, headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, is a regional manufacturer of color and additive masterbatches. They provide masterbatch colorants for many market segments including automotive, textiles and construction.
