Thomas W. Morgan, CFA – Senior Associate
Tom Morgan has joined the firm as Senior Associate to the private equity team. Prior to joining Spell Capital, he spent over five years at William Blair & Company as an Institutional Equity Sales Professional. Tom has a MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management where he was a Student Investment Fund Fellow and a Bachelor of Science degree from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College where he majored in Accounting and Finance. Tom was awarded the CFA designation in 2013 and is a member of the CFA Society of Minnesota.
Courtney M. Alpeter – Associate
Courtney Alpeter has joined the firm as Associate, serving in both the private equity and mezzanine teams. Prior to joining the firm in a full-time position, Courtney interned with Spell Capital during the summer of 2013. Courtney also interned with The Gores Group where she assisted with their fundraising efforts, investor reporting, and market research. She also interned for GreenTree Inns Hotel Management Group in Shanghai, China, where she helped the company develop a marketing strategy for their English-speaking demographic. Courtney has a Business Administration degree from the University of Southern California with an emphasis in Finance.
Harry W. Spell, II – Associate
Harry Spell has joined the firm as Associate to the private equity team. Prior to joining Spell Capital, Harry was an Investment Banking Analyst at Craig-Hallum Capital Group, a research, trading and investment banking firm. Previously, he interned with an investment banking firm specializing in sell side merger and acquisition advisory services. Harry holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration – Entrepreneurship from the University of St. Thomas.
