Minneapolis, MN – Spell Capital Partners is pleased to announce the sale of Complete Packaging in late 2023, a company owned by the Spell Family Office. Complete Packaging, headquartered in Monroe, MI, is a supplier of precision engineered and custom-designed packaging solutions for a diverse group of end markets, primarily used in the automotive, heavy truck, energy, aerospace and other general industrial markets. The Complete Packaging business was sold to Specialized Packaging Group (SPG), a vertically integrated provider of protective packaging products and portfolio company of Altamont Capital Partners.
“In 2019 the Spell Family Office purchased Complete Packaging from the family that founded the company. During our ownership revenues doubled, and we also acquired the Grigg Box Company located in Detroit.
