Spell Capital announced that Kip Colwell has joined the firm as Operating Partner. Mr. Colwell brings over 30 years of experience in senior executive positions in both public and private companies. Kip will join the private equity team and will work with the portfolio companies in strategy and operational improvements.
Prior to joining Spell Capital, Mr. Colwell was CEO of Advanced Web; a label and flexible packaging converter for the medical device, OEM and consumer goods industries. Previously, he was president of the Information Services Group of Banta Corporation in Menasha, WI. Kip holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Rochester Institute of Technology.
